According to Consumer Reports magazine, Apple has the best customer support in the PC world. Apple got an 83, which translates to "very satisfied". Next in line were Lenovo and Dell, with a 66 and a 60, respectively, which both translate "fairly well satisfied".
Interestingly, Apple's record of errors on notebook computers wasn't good, even though when you measure against the other competitors and consider the margin of error in the survey, it kinda evens out. But the even more interesting news is that on the desktop scene, Apple was best in class in errors.
So, to me, it sounds like the best purchase is a Mac desktop -- fewer system problems and better technical support!
